LE PETIT HÔPITAL
Luxury South of France Getaway
Welcome to Le Petit Hôpital...
A stunning 350-year-old Bastide located in the Luberon area of France. The home, which was previously a farmhouse, features state-of-the-art furniture, elegant staircases, and perfectly manicured gardens. One of the most loved areas of the home is it's courtyard, which is secretly contained behind grand antique iron gates. Various other spaces within the yard offer a spot to peacefully overlook the fruit orchards next to the home or the mountains in the distance.
Provence is famous for it's weather - sunshine and clear skies exist more days than not. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, or a glass of Provençal rosé in one of the numerous alfresco dining areas.
The villa is situated just a few minutes away from the charming town of Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue, which is the antique capital of France. Pack a picnic lunch, hop in the car, and enjoy a picturesque drive through the winding roads of the many nearby hilltop towns.
Many of our guests book private chefs to make use of the home's professional grade kitchen. Chefs will prepare meals, appetizers, or even to instruct cooking classes for your group.
The home is conveniently located in the Luberon area of the South of France, peacefully situated amongst stunning fruit orchards and just minutes from many charming hilltop towns.
A swimming pool in Provence is essential. The home has an antique pool fenced in by rose gardens. The pool was built almost 200 years ago and features an elegant fountain.
Because of the hot soil and warm climate, Provence is home to some of the very best French wines. Those with rented vehicles enjoy touring around to local wineries for tastings and discovering new wines of the area.
All bookings include a full changeover day clean, as well as a midweek clean in common areas. Our cleaning is professional and of hotel quality. Additional cleaning is available upon request.
Cycling in France is popular. Travel along winding country roads, amongst lavender fields and fruit orchards. Many of our guests rent their own bikes from a shop in town if they are looking for a more rigorous biking experience that what we offer with the bikes available for use at the villa.

There are endless towns to explore, whether it be nearby Luberon hilltop towns, or seaside towns on the Cote D'Azur (about an hour away).

Le Petit Hôpital is located just ten minutes from several kayaking locations. The kayak rentals and tours take you down the "Sorgue" - the waters that run through the village of Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue, fed by Fountain de Vaucluse - a cave that surges over 630 million cubic metres of water annually.
L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue attracts visitors from all over for it's famous markets and the Sorgue river that runs through the town. In the summer months in particular, this town is bustling. You will find everything you need here- from traditional French restaurants, to bakeries, independent shops, an old historic church and famous markets. Accessible by bike, car or foot.
This was by far the best traveling experience I have ever had. We were able to accommodate a group of 15 comfortably, while giving them an experience they will never forget. This setting was the perfect backdrop for our small intimate wedding. I wouldn't change anything, other than leaving this incredible place.
